Big 5 Global 2026 is set to connect Egyptian construction and building materials manufacturers with international markets, as the event returns to Dubai World Trade Centre from November 23 to 26, bringing together more than 1,800 exhibitors from over 60 countries.
The exhibition will showcase approximately 55,000 products, services, systems and solutions, with international companies accounting for more than 70% of participating exhibitors.
The event comes amid growing opportunities in Egypt’s infrastructure sector, which is forecast to grow by 9.3% annually between 2027 and 2032, according to Mordor Intelligence, creating new opportunities for Egyptian manufacturers to expand their regional presence.
Egyptian participation is supported by the Export Council for Building Materials, Refractories & Metal Industries. Participating companies include Egypt Expo & Convention Authority (EECA), Arkan for Plastic Industries, Red Sea Pipes, Smart Copper Industrial, Block Industries Company, International Company for Insulation Technology (INSUTECH) and Al Alamia for Rockwool (Rockal).
Strengthening Supply Chains and Expanding Market Opportunities
Ahmed Abdelfattah, Executive Director of the Export Council for Building Materials, Refractories & Metal Industries, said Egypt and the UAE share longstanding trade and economic ties, with construction and building materials representing an important area of opportunity for businesses in both markets.
He added that participation in Big 5 Global enables Egyptian companies to showcase their capabilities, build relationships with international stakeholders and explore opportunities to contribute to construction projects across the region.
The exhibition covers a wide range of sectors, including construction materials, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) solutions, building interiors and finishes, prefabrication, fire and safety, infrastructure equipment and industrial construction products.
Seven co-located events will further expand the exhibition’s sectoral coverage, spanning heavy construction, concrete, marble and stone, urban design and landscape, HVACR, digital construction and geospatial technologies, as well as facilities management.
The 2026 exhibitor line-up includes international companies such as Liebherr, Bauer, Doosan, Zamil Steel, Anchor Allied, Astral, Dutco Tennant, TOPWERK, MASA and RAKNOR. First-time exhibitors include Midea, Einhell, Reynaers, Innovo Group and Mulk Holding.
Digital Technologies and Sustainable Construction in Focus
Technology will also feature prominently through Digital Construction World, where companies including Premier Construction Software, Nemetschek Group, Leica, RIB Software and DJI Drones will showcase solutions supporting project planning, coordination and delivery.
Sustainability will be another key focus through the Big 5 Global Impact Trail, which will guide visitors towards products and solutions supporting more sustainable construction practices. Participating exhibitors include NaturaSeal, Prime Middle East and Deewan Equipment Trading, presenting solutions related to waterproofing, cooling refrigerants and concrete waste reduction.
Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President at dmg events, said the next phase of growth in construction markets will depend not only on the scale of development, but also on the industry’s ability to deliver projects effectively.
She highlighted the importance of resilient supply chains, technology adoption, sustainable solutions and workforce capabilities, noting that Big 5 Global brings these priorities together and provides regional stakeholders with access to global suppliers, innovation and partnerships.
Big 5 Global is held in collaboration with a network of partners and sponsors, including the Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure as the main supporting partner, the Italian Trade Agency as headline partner, and Midea and TALCO | Saudi Made as strategic partners, alongside several other supporting and sponsoring organizations.
