The Code’s revenue grows more than 20-fold in 2026 as UAE businesses move to asset-light operations

The Code, a technology-powered, managed storage service for the UAE, has grown its revenue more than 20-fold in the first three quarters of 2026. Retailers, real estate developers, hotels and arts and culture organisations look to free up premium space and reduce the cost of holding physical assets on site. Demand filled its initial 13,500 sq ft warehouse in Al Warsan within five months of launch, and the company has since expanded into additional facilities in Al Quoz.

The final quarter is the busiest period of the year for many UAE businesses. Retailers are building stock for Diwali, Black Friday and the festive season, hotels and residential communities are preparing for peak visitor numbers, and event organisers are moving furniture, displays and equipment between venues. Each creates pressure on space that is too valuable to give over to storage.

The Code acts as a trusted extension of a business’s operation, combining warehousing, logistics, technology and service in one managed offer. Its team collects assets from site, professionally catalogues each one and stores it in secure, climate-controlled facilities, from documents and furniture to stock, signage, equipment and valuables. Collection and delivery services reduce the workload on clients’ own teams, and flexible storage adapts as business requirements change, without long-term commitments to fixed space.

Every asset is tracked through The Code’s dedicated business platform, giving businesses the same visibility over physical assets that they expect over digital ones. Corporate teams can track inventory at asset level, keep procurement records, quantities and valuations in one place, and give multiple users access to a single, centralised view of everything in storage. A residential development can store seasonal decorations, event equipment and signage instead of dedicating valuable on-site space to them, while an exhibition organiser can manage furniture and displays across multiple events from one inventory and recall any item on demand.

“Space in the UAE is expensive, and too many businesses use prime square footage to store things they need only a few times a year,” said Alexander Stuart, CEO of The Code. “Our clients want flexibility, not more fixed infrastructure. We become an extension of their operation: we collect, catalogue and look after their assets, and they can see and recall every item through our platform. When a community manager, retailer or event organiser knows exactly what they hold and where it is, they plan better and free up space for uses that earn a return.”

The Code now manages more than 25,000 individual items for business and household customers, and its revenue has grown at an average compounded rate of 46.3% a month since January. The Code plans to build a scalable network of on-demand storage facilities across all GCC markets by 2030, supported by its proprietary technology platform and app.

As UAE organisations focus on core capabilities and turn to specialist partners for supporting functions, The Code is establishing managed storage as a smarter alternative to fixed on-site storage, helping businesses reduce costs, drive efficiencies and keep control of every asset.
