Canon Middle East is hosting its ‘Frame the Future’ event in Cairo, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening collaboration with its existing distribution partners in Egypt and addressing evolving customer needs across photography, videography, and printing solutions.
Taking place on November 3 and 4, the two-day event brings together distributors, channel partners, retailers, systems integrators, and imaging technology professionals to exchange insights, share expertise, and explore Canon’s latest solutions and applications through hands-on experiences.
‘Frame the Future’ is an ongoing regional platform designed to strengthen Canon Middle East’s engagement with its distribution partners, bringing together the company’s heritage in imaging and printing, emerging creative applications, and the local market expertise of its partners.
Launching from Egypt, the platform aims to deepen collaboration and help partners connect customers with the technologies and experiences best suited to their needs across Middle Eastern markets, building on Canon’s established relationships in Egypt.
Benoy Nair, Director of the Consumer Business Unit (B2C) at Canon Middle East, highlighted Egypt’s promising opportunities in the consumer imaging technology sector, supported by an active creative community and partners with a deep understanding of their customers’ needs.
He explained that Canon is focused on empowering its partners to meet evolving customer needs through appropriate technologies, specialized product knowledge, and hands-on experiences that demonstrate the capabilities of its products. He also noted that ‘Frame the Future’ provides an opportunity to listen to partners, collaborate with them, and shape the next phase of customer engagement.
Showcasing the Latest Photography and Videography Technologies
The programme on November 3 focuses on photography and videography, giving participants the opportunity to experience a range of Canon imaging solutions firsthand.
As part of an immersive creative space, Mohamed Alaa, CEO of the Cairo Photography Club (CPC), will deliver a live demonstration of the video capabilities of the Canon EOS R6 V, drawing on his experience in content creation using the camera.
The event will also showcase the EOS R8 Mark II alongside a selection of other imaging products, giving Canon partners practical insights into how today’s content creators are using imaging technologies.
Printing Solutions Highlight Opportunities for Partner Growth
On November 4, the focus will shift to Canon’s portfolio of home and office printing solutions, highlighting the strategic importance of the Egyptian market in the printing sector and its distribution channel partnerships.
The programme will place particular emphasis on strengthening engagement with systems integrators and value-added distributors, while demonstrating the value that Canon’s technologies, solutions, and integrated applications can deliver beyond the hardware itself.
Through hands-on demonstrations, customer-focused discussions, and knowledge sharing, the programme will explore opportunities to help partners develop their solutions, respond to changing customer requirements, and unlock sustainable business growth.
The event reflects Canon Middle East’s focus on the concept of the ‘Customer of the Future’, as customers’ creative and everyday needs continue to evolve alongside the growing range of media they use, making expertise and customer experience increasingly important alongside technology.
It also reflects Canon’s corporate philosophy of ‘Kyosei’, which means living and working together for the common good, through collaboration with partners and communities that contribute to supporting the imaging sector in Egypt.
