The company raises its sustainability score to 87/100, ranking among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide.
Tetra Pak has received the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year, maintaining the highest recognition level in one of the world’s widely used business sustainability assessments.
The company increased its overall score to 87 out of 100, compared with 85 in 2025, placing it among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed globally by EcoVadis.
The recognition reflects Tetra Pak’s continued efforts to strengthen sustainability across its operations and value chain while supporting more resilient food systems. As food producers face growing challenges from climate change, resource constraints and supply chain disruptions, the company is focused on helping customers produce, process, package and distribute food more efficiently, safely and sustainably.
This approach aligns with Tetra Pak’s purpose of making food safe and available everywhere while protecting food, people and the planet.
Improved performance across key sustainability areas
Tetra Pak’s higher overall score was driven by improved results in the assessed areas of environment, ethics and sustainable procurement, reflecting initiatives across its sustainability strategy and reporting practices.
During 2025, the company strengthened the sustainability disclosures in its sustainability report, expanded reporting on sustainable procurement activities, introduced additional performance indicators and enhanced due diligence processes throughout its supply chain.
These efforts were complemented by continued supplier engagement through the Join Us in Protecting the Planet programme. The initiative now covers 145 suppliers representing the majority of the company’s total spend, supporting progress on climate action, nature, human rights and transparency across the value chain.
Sustainability at the core of food system resilience
Martin Scott, Executive Vice President of Sustainability & Communications at Tetra Pak, said achieving the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year demonstrates the sustained commitment of the company’s employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to embedding sustainability across its business and value chain.
He added that, as pressure on global food systems increases, strengthening food resilience has become a critical challenge. The recognition reinforces Tetra Pak’s commitment to helping customers build the resilience needed to succeed in a changing world.
