Juhayna Food Industries has launched its “5 Kheir”campaign in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, allocating 5% of the profits from its pink products to Baheya Foundation to support the services it provides to women battling breast cancer. The campaign comes as part of Juhayna’s 11-year partnership with the foundation, which combines ongoing support with efforts to raise awareness about the importance of early detection.
This year’s campaign carries an awareness message under the slogan “Falna Kheir, Bas Kefaya Takheer”, encouraging women to undergo early screening and overcome the fears and misconceptions that may lead them to postpone medical examinations. The campaign emphasizes that early screening is an important step toward gaining peace of mind about their health, understanding their condition, and taking appropriate action at the right time.
Over the course of the 11-year partnership, the collaboration between Juhayna and Baheya Foundation has contributed to supporting services provided to women battling breast cancer. More than 1,633 women have benefited from early detection services, medical testing, and treatment, reflecting the tangible impact of the partnership in supporting women throughout the different stages of their journey, from early detection to receiving treatment.
Seif Thabet, Chief Executive Officer of Juhayna Food Industries, said: “We are proud of our 11-year partnership with Baheya Foundation, which has evolved over the years in terms of the nature of our support and the impact we aim to achieve. We believe that our responsibility toward women’s health goes beyond financial support to include raising awareness and encouraging women to prioritize their health and undergo early screening.”
He added: “Through the ‘5 Kheir’ campaign, we continue to build on what we have achieved with Baheya Foundation. Our message this year is clear: delaying screening does not ease anxiety, while early detection is the path to peace of mind. We look forward to continuing this partnership and reaching more women with our support and message in the coming period.”
The partnership between Juhayna and Baheya Foundation dates back to 2015, when Juhayna contributed to the construction of the first phase of Baheya Hospital. Over the years, the partnership expanded to support the foundation’s efforts and expansion plans, as well as implement awareness and community campaigns encouraging women to undergo early screening.
