Wisewell, the UAE-founded water technology company redefining the way people access drinking water at home, has partnered with Rosewood Abu Dhabi to bring its advanced water purification technology to all 58 serviced residences at the ultra-luxury property on Al Maryah Island.
The strategic partnership brings water quality into the wider wellbeing experience at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, giving residents access to purified, remineralized drinking water on demand through the Wisewell Nano. Designed for seamless use within the residence, the countertop system requires no plumbing or installation and provides water at the touch of a button, from ice-cold and room temperature to tea-hot.
At the heart of Wisewell’s technology is a dual-action approach to water purification. Reverse osmosis removes contaminants that may be present in tap water, including microplastics, PFAS and lead, while natural Maifan stone remineralizes the water with calcium, magnesium and potassium. The resulting water is also tuned for taste by Christina Li, one of approximately 250 certified water sommeliers worldwide.
Each residence is equipped with four refillable aluminum bottles, extending the experience beyond the residence and supporting guests throughout their day-to-day.
“We obsess over food, sleep, and training, then wash it all down with water stewing in hot plastic for months,” said Sami Khoreibi, Founder of Wisewell. “A standard liter of bottled water carries 240,000 nanoplastics. Water is still the afterthought. At Rosewood Abu Dhabi, it no longer is. Every resident has direct access to pure, mineral-rich water at the press of a button,” he added.
“Everything at Rosewood Abu Dhabi is chosen to give our guests the best, and that now includes the water they drink,” said Remus Palimaru, Managing Director, Rosewood Abu Dhabi. “We’re proud to partner with Wisewell.”
Founded in the UAE, Wisewell combines water purification with a more sustainable alternative to single-use bottled water. Every liter poured through its systems also funds a liter of clean water through Wisewell’s Liter-for-Liter programme, delivered in partnership with nonprofit Splash to support clean water systems for children in schools across Asia and Africa. To date, Wisewell has diverted more than 17.4 million single-use plastic bottles.
