The AgriTech Forum returns as part of Global Food Week 2026, bringing together agricultural experts, innovators, investors, researchers and policymakers from around the world for a three-day programme focused on emerging agricultural technologies, investment opportunities and the role of research in developing solutions that support sustainable production and food security.
Global Food Week is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA). The event is organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in strategic partnership with ADAFSA and will take place from 6 to 8 October 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
Each day of the forum is dedicated to a key theme, beginning with agricultural technology, followed by investment, and concluding with academia and scientific research. The programme is designed to connect the development of new solutions with the funding, implementation and scaling pathways required to bring them to market.
The first day will focus on emerging agricultural technologies and AI-powered production models, exploring their role in supporting sustainable farming practices and reducing pressure on global food supply chains.
The second day will be dedicated to investment, featuring case studies on agricultural finance, capital deployment and approaches to transforming innovative ideas into commercially viable projects.
The third day will focus on academia and scientific research, including sessions on youth engagement initiatives and preparing the next generation of talent across the agricultural value chain.
The forum aims to move beyond showcasing ideas and towards exploring practical implementation by connecting technology, finance, research and policy. It will foster collaboration between industry professionals, researchers and investors to develop solutions and expand their real-world impact.
The AgriTech and Farmers Sector within Global Food Week will also feature the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Agricultural Excellence Pavilion, bringing together leading farmers and livestock breeders from across the UAE and highlighting their achievements. The event will additionally host a Farmers’ Market, providing local producers with an opportunity to showcase their products to international buyers and distributors.
The forum forms part of the largest edition of Global Food Week to date, which combines a conference and exhibition and spans eight specialised sectors covering every stage of the food and beverage value chain. The event brings together governments, companies, buyers and brands from across the sector.
Against a backdrop of climate challenges, resource pressures and supply chain disruption, the forum will focus on strengthening collaboration and knowledge exchange across borders, sectors and disciplines. By fostering the adoption of advanced technologies and innovative solutions, it aims to support the development of more resilient and sustainable food systems in the UAE and around the world.
