Qualiphi Launches Digital Career Passport in Egypt

Qualiphi, Egypt’s first digital platform for AI-powered career development and recruitment services, has announced the launch of the Qualiphi Career Passport, a first-of-its-kind initiative in Egypt designed to connect verified skills and professional credentials with employment opportunities across Egypt and the Middle East.

The digital passport provides students, graduates, and professionals with an evolving professional identity that brings together their academic qualifications, skills, certifications, and work experience, while enabling verification through educational and training institutions as well as employers.

The launch reinforces Qualiphi’s efforts to build an integrated ecosystem connecting talent discovery, learning, professional development, and employment within a unified digital environment, helping transform educational and professional achievements into verifiable evidence that supports access to relevant career opportunities.

A Dynamic Digital Record of Professional Skills and Credentials

The Qualiphi Career Passport brings together academic qualifications, assessment results, technical and soft skills, projects, training programs, professional experience, and industry certifications, in addition to Skills Verification Certificates that provide evidence of specific competencies acquired by individuals.

Designed as a dynamic record, the passport evolves with every new learning or training experience, providing an updated digital profile of an individual’s capabilities, skills, academic credentials, training, and assessment results, while highlighting areas that require further development.

Commenting on the launch, Eng. Nevine Magdy, Founder and CEO of Qualiphi, said the company is committed to delivering a distinctive professional development experience that keeps pace with the latest technological advancements.

She added that the Career Passport reinforces Qualiphi’s position in developing a regional platform for AI-powered career development and recruitment services.

Magdy explained that the passport is integrated with the platform’s services for identifying individual interests and capabilities, AI-powered career assessments, competency frameworks, skills gap analysis, and recommendations for suitable educational and professional pathways, helping users make more informed decisions about their career futures.

Qualiphi Builds on Its Role in the Be Ready Initiative

Magdy noted that the launch builds on Qualiphi’s experience in managing career development journeys and delivering professional services at scale. This includes the platform’s selection as a core digital career services platform under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s “Be Ready” initiative, one of the implementation mechanisms of the Presidential Initiative “Alliance and Development.”

The Career Passport is also integrated with Qualiphi Employer, a dedicated platform that enables companies to participate directly in identifying and attracting talent, as well as validating the skills and competencies individuals demonstrate during their employment or training experiences.

Through this platform, the Career Passport incorporates employer-issued assessments and supporting evidence, alongside micro-credentials and assessment results issued by educational, training, and professional institutions. This creates a multi-source professional record that identifies the issuing or validating entity for each certificate or assessment, as well as the associated verification process.

Qualiphi brings together universities, career assessment and guidance centers, training institutions, government ministries, companies, students, and graduates within a unified ecosystem, where interconnected data provides a more comprehensive picture of individuals’ capabilities and professional development.

The model strengthens the credibility of the Career Passport by combining information submitted by individuals with evidence from learning outcomes and assessments, alongside validation from institutions where they have received training or gained professional experience.

For employers, this data facilitates access to candidates whose profiles are more closely aligned with job requirements, while providing insights into their job readiness and training needs before and after recruitment. This supports more effective talent acquisition and workforce development decisions.

Information sharing and credential verification are managed in accordance with the permissions of relevant institutions and the consent of individual users.
