Dalia Khorshid Leads the Financial Services Category in Forbes Middle East’s Sustainability Leaders List for the Third Consecutive Year

For the third consecutive year, Dalia Khorshid, Group CEO and Managing Director of Beltone Holding, continues to be featured on Forbes Middle East’s “Sustainability Leaders 2026” list, ranking third in the Financial Services category. Khorshid is among 14 Egyptian leaders featured in this year’s list, which recognizes 145 executives from across the region spanning 17 sectors.

This recognition reflects Beltone Holding’s continued focus on integrating sustainability into its financial and investment activities through the development of financing solutions and practical initiatives that support resource efficiency and encourage the transition towards more sustainable practices.

In this context, Beltone’s headquarters received Level 2 certification under the EDGE green building rating system in 2025, in recognition of its compliance with standards related to energy, water, and resource efficiency. Beltone Securities Brokerage also obtained a license from the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) to trade carbon emission reduction certificates and their futures contracts, becoming the first company in Egypt to receive this license.

In sustainable finance, Beltone Leasing and Factoring secured USD 20 million in financing in June 2025, with USD 10 million each from the SANAD Fund for MSME and the Green for Growth Fund, to SMEs, enhance resource efficiency, and expand clean energy solutions.
Beltone has also developed six sustainable finance products covering energy efficiency, renewable energy, biogas, carbon certificates, green buildings, and sustainable agriculture. In addition, Beltone provides advisory services for transactions that support food security and develops investment banking services linked to sustainability.

Beltone’s efforts have also extended to raising environmental awareness among students through educational programs and interactive games designed to reinforce sustainability concepts. These programs have reached more than 16,700 students across 100 schools in 15 governorates, reflecting Beltone’s efforts beyond finance and investment to include environmental awareness.

Dalia Khorshid’s inclusion in Forbes Middle East’s list for the third consecutive year comes amid the growing importance of sustainability in the financial sector and highlights the role of executive leaders in developing financing solutions and initiatives that connect economic growth with environmental responsibility, supporting sustainable development efforts in Egypt and the region.
