Celebrating 125 years of innovation and partnership in Egypt, Siemens companies operating in Egypt, namely Siemens Mobility and Siemens Industrial today launched the second edition of Siemens Talk Students’ Summit at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Organized in partnership with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, alongside academic partners Alexandria University, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), and the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), the event was attended by senior government officials, academic leaders, and industry representatives.
Building on the success of Mobility Talk 2025 in Cairo, Siemens Talk brings together more than 1,500 students and fresh graduates from universities across Egypt, alongside government officials, academics, industry leaders, innovators, and Siemens experts to explore the technologies, trends, and skills shaping the future of industry, infrastructure, and sustainable development.
Marking the first expansion of the initiative beyond Cairo, the event leverages the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s legacy as a global center of knowledge to foster dialogue between academia, industry, and future talent. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, technical sessions, innovation showcases, career development workshops, mock interviews, and networking opportunities, participants gain direct exposure to emerging technologies and real-world applications across digitalization, smart infrastructure, sustainable mobility, industrial innovation, artificial intelligence, and automation.
Léon Soulier, Executive Vice President of Siemens Mobility Turnkey Business and Managing Director of Middle East & Africa, said: “The success of Mobility Talk 2025 demonstrated the strong interest among young people in shaping Egypt’s future. Through this year’s Siemens Talk, we continue to provide students with direct exposure to industry expertise, emerging technologies, and transformative projects, helping equip the next generation with the skills and inspiration needed to drive sustainable mobility and economic growth.”
Mostafa El-Bagoury, Managing Director Siemens Egypt, added: “As we celebrate 125 years of partnership with Egypt, Siemens Talk reflects our commitment to investing not only in technology, but also in people. Hosting the event at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a symbol of knowledge, discovery, and cultural exchange, provides an inspiring platform to connect young talent with industry experts, emerging technologies, and the skills needed to help shape Egypt’s future.”
A key highlight of the event is the One Young Innovation Exhibition, which showcases innovative projects and ideas developed by aspiring young innovators, while technical breakout sessions provide practical insights into emerging technologies, industry trends, and future career opportunities.
The event forms part of Siemens’ long-standing commitment to knowledge transfer, talent development, and community engagement. As Siemens marks 125 years in Egypt, the company continues to support the country’s sustainable development through technology, innovation, and partnerships that help prepare today’s students to become tomorrow’s engineers, innovators, and leaders.
