Catalyst Partners Holding (“CPH”), part of Catalyst Partners Middle East (“CPME”), announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with African Investments Limited (“AIL”), a Jersey-registered company focused on matching business, trade and investment opportunities across Africa.
Under the MoU, CPH and AIL intend to establish a framework for cooperation focused on growing business, trade and investment opportunities for CPH, introducing new clients, promoting CPH clients to prospective investment and business partners, and building a long-term working relationship.
The collaboration will enable CPH and its clients to access AIL’s Africa-focused business community and opportunity platforms, with AIL supporting introductions and inbound enquiries relating to business, trade and investment opportunities across the continent. The parties may also promote the partnership across their respective networks and digital platforms.
For CPME, the agreement is expected to strengthen the Group’s connectivity across African markets, broaden its international network and create additional channels for cross-border transaction origination, capital raising, investment opportunities and strategic partnerships for clients.
Commenting on the MoU, Abdelaziz Abdel Nabi, CEO of Catalyst Partners Holding, said:
“This MoU expands the network we can leverage for our clients across Africa. By combining CPH’s transaction and investment capabilities with AIL’s pan-African business and investor network, we aim to open new channels for capital, partnerships and cross-border opportunities while strengthening CPME’s connectivity across African markets.”
Rupert James McCammon, Managing Director of African Investments Limited, added:
“We are pleased to establish this relationship with Catalyst Partners Holding. Our focus is to connect credible businesses with relevant investors and commercial partners across Africa, and we look forward to helping CPH and its clients access our network, identify opportunities and build productive relationships across the continent.”
The MoU establishes a voluntary framework for cooperation between the parties and is intended to support the development of the relationship over time. It does not, by itself, create legally enforceable obligations between CPH and AIL.
The collaboration complements CPME’s broader strategy of building an integrated regional financial-services and financial-technology platform while expanding the Group’s international connectivity and access to investment opportunities across key markets.
