Following its debut in 2025, the festival is expanding its programme to explore the many dimensions of coffee culture, from craftsmanship and food to design, education, business, and community engagement. Organizers expect approximately 6,000 visitors to attend this year’s edition, which will feature more than 35 coffee brands, roasters, and exhibitors, alongside local and international industry experts.

Six Areas Exploring Coffee Culture

The festival will be organized across six experiential areas: Coffee & Craft, Food & Beverage, Design & Lifestyle, Education & Knowledge, Business & Industry, and Community & Entertainment. The programme is designed to bring together different aspects of the coffee ecosystem while creating opportunities for visitors to discover new products, exchange knowledge, and connect with the people behind the industry.

Commenting on the event, Hanan Abdel Meguid, Co-Founder of Egypt Coffee Festival and CEO of Kamelizer Spaces, said coffee has a unique ability to bring people together through a culture shaped by creativity, social interaction, and shared experiences. She added that the festival aims to give visitors opportunities to explore new experiences, meet their favourite brands, and engage with the wider coffee community.

Barista Competitions and Interactive Experiences

Competitions will be a key feature of the second edition, with two events highlighting the skills and creativity involved in coffee preparation. These include the Home Barista Competition, organized by The Community Bundle, and “Crush the Rush,” presented by La Marzocco.

Beyond coffee tastings, visitors will be able to explore food and beverage offerings, giveaways, and interactive brand activations. Participating experiences will include The Skin Care Addict by The Hair Addict in collaboration with Indulge, as well as Samir & Aly.

The programme will also extend beyond the festival grounds with a community morning run organized by Run Qairo on Saturday, October 17, at 10 AM around District 5. Music and entertainment activities will take place throughout the festival.

Industry Partners and Roasters Village

The event’s main partners are La Marzocco, Coffee Atelier, and Mediterraneo. EEFVG (La Cimbali) will participate as Hospitality Partner, Alpro as Alternative Milk Partner, Kamelizer Co-Coffee as Community and Activation Partner, 2ool Ameme as Gaming Partner, and E11ven as Afterparty and Music Partner.

Through its expanded programme, Egypt Coffee Festival aims to connect the businesses and individuals shaping the country’s coffee industry, encourage knowledge exchange, foster collaboration, and introduce a broader audience to the experiences and culture surrounding coffee.
