Wajha Developments, Vodafone collaborate on advanced technology infrastructure for MEE Hotel

Wajha Developments has signed a strategic partnership with Vodafone Egypt as part of its plan to enhance the services offered at MEE Hotel, an integrated hospitality project the company is developing in Sixth Settlement, New Cairo.

The partnership aims to support a comprehensive hospitality experience combining accommodation, investment, and operational services.
Michael Samy, Chairman of Wajha Developments, stated that the partnership with Vodafone is part of the company’s vision to develop an integrated hospitality project that goes beyond hotel units to incorporate a comprehensive system of services, technology, and operations in line with evolving demand for hospitality real estate products.

He said that MEE Hotel was designed around Hotel Living Experience concept, which combines hotel accommodation, investment, management, and operations.

The development will offer fully finished and furnished units equipped with appliances and air conditioning, alongside a range of services and amenities designed to provide an integrated stay experience.

Samy noted that the project is located on Plot 1 in Sixth Settlement, New Cairo, with direct access to the Middle Ring Road and Ain Sokhna Road. Its location provides access to Madinaty, New Cairo, Cairo International Airport, New Capital, Mostakbal City, and the American University in Cairo.

He added that MEE Hotel spans over nearly 24,000 sqm of built-up area, comprising two basement levels dedicated to parking, a ground floor, and nine upper floors. The project features a 100-meter frontage along the Middle Ring Road, a 500-meter panoramic open view, as well as open spaces, activity areas, and landscaped areas.

The project comprises a range of hotel units ranging from 32.5 to 117 sqm, including Mee Glow, Mee Shell, Mee Lodge, and Bloom Suite. All units are delivered fully finished and furnished, with electrical appliances and air conditioning.

The project offers an integrated range of services and amenities, including Gold’s Gym, three infinity pools, a clubhouse, a rooftop restaurant, a business lounge, running and cycling tracks, a children’s play area, a meditation and relaxation garden, and a commercial area. The project will also provide concierge and hotel housekeeping services, in addition to underground parking.

Samy also pointed out that Wajha Developments has partnered with a number of specialized companies to support the project’s services and operations, including Gold’s Gym, Vibel Stay, which specializes in hotel management and operations, Infinity Trade & Spa, YBA – Yasser El Beltagy Architects, as well as Dr. Engy Kassaby, a specialist in longevity.

He disclosed these partnerships are intended to support integration across the project’s development, operations, and service components.
He further explained that the company’s strategy for MEE Hotel is focused on offering a hospitality real estate product that combines execution quality, a diverse range of services, and operational readiness, with flexible payment plans starting from a 10% down payment and installments of up to 10 years.

He also highlighted the partnership with Vodafone as a new addition to the network of partners Wajha is bringing together to develop MEE Hotel. The partnership aligns with the company’s approach of integrating real estate products with services, technology, and operations to provide an experience tailored to the needs of customers and investors.
