Huawei Cloud has unveiled a broad portfolio of enterprise artificial intelligence products and platforms as it advances its strategy to build an open Agentic Cloud ecosystem.
Speaking at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Dr. Peter Zhou, Director of the Board at Huawei and CEO of Huawei Cloud, outlined the company’s latest developments under the theme “The Agentic Cloud for the Agentic World: Build Together, Grow Together.”
The company announced the global launch of its latest AI Cluster Service (AICS), describing it as a key component of its efforts to strengthen AI infrastructure and provide a foundation for agentic AI applications.
Huawei Cloud said its new AICS is built around a five-level fast-recovery mechanism and full-chain observability. The service supports more than 40 days of stable cloud-based training and can recover from faults within 10 minutes. Through coordinated optimization of scheduling, caching, and algorithms, it delivers up to 20% higher token throughput compared with the previous generation of compute services.
AICS became commercially available in China on September 30, with availability in markets outside China scheduled for November 30.
Advancing Infrastructure for Agentic AI
Huawei Cloud is positioning its Agentic Infra framework around four key capabilities: efficient token processing, enhanced memory, unified general-purpose and AI computing, and secure autonomous operations.
The company said its Agentic Infra solutions have already served more than 3,500 customers.
Another addition is the Context Memory Storage (CMS) solution, designed to support long-horizon agent tasks that require greater memory capacity and faster access. Huawei Cloud said CMS provides petabyte-scale memory space and delivers twice the storage capacity of comparable industry products, while supporting terabyte-scale memory reads at performance levels 50% higher than industry peers.
Huawei Cloud also highlighted its Agentic Model as a Service (MaaS) platform, which brings together models from different providers and allows developers to access state-of-the-art models without deployment. During the event, MiniMax demonstrated its multimodal model integrated with Huawei Cloud to deliver advanced multimodal AI capabilities.
Enterprise Agent Platform Expands
Huawei Cloud is also expanding its enterprise agent platform through both commercial and open-source offerings.
The platform, built around AgentArts and its open-source edition openJiuwen, provides access to more than 5,000 general Model Context Protocol (MCP) assets and over 1,000 industry-specific MCP assets.
Huawei Cloud said AgentArts has already served more than 100 enterprises and organizations, including government entities, power companies, research institutions, universities, technology companies, and healthcare organizations.
Among the highlighted implementations is Kingsoft Office, which has integrated Huawei Cloud’s agent platform with WPS 365 Document Center and WPS Comate to develop specialized office agents for sectors including finance and government.
AgentArts is scheduled to become commercially available in markets outside China on December 30.
Meanwhile, the openJiuwen community has surpassed 50,000 stars and 3.29 million downloads. Huawei Cloud has also partnered with Chinasoft International, iSoftStone Group, and Beiming Software to introduce commercial editions for partners and expand the platform’s market reach.
Industry AI Foundry Expands into New Areas
Huawei Cloud is further supporting enterprise AI adoption through its Industry AI Foundry, which combines industry scenarios, models, data, knowledge, and agents to turn individual project experience into reusable capabilities.
The platform currently includes five specialized zones covering Smart Healthcare, Embodied AI, AI for Science (AI4S), Smart Manufacturing, and Smart Finance. Together, these areas have accumulated more than 1,000 industry-specific assets and supported over 1,000 deployed projects.
Huawei Cloud has now added two new zones: Smart Government and AI Hardware.
The Smart Government Zone includes 24 founding partners and covers applications ranging from government operations and public services to urban governance and industry development.
The AI Hardware Zone includes 15 core partners and supports more than 20 device categories, including AI glasses, AI toys, and AI recording cards. It also features more than 10 scenario templates and over 110 scenario skills.
Through its infrastructure, enterprise agent platforms, and industry ecosystem, Huawei Cloud aims to establish an open Agentic Cloud that combines AI-ready infrastructure, accessible development platforms, and industry capabilities to support the broader adoption of agentic AI.
HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, held under the theme “Advancing the Agentic World,” brings together developments across AI strategy, technology, and ecosystems, with the company showcasing new digital and intelligent infrastructure products, industry-specific solutions, and AI development tools.
