SUD appoints DORRA Group’s AFM to manage, operate Financial HUB at New Capital

Safwa Urban Development (SUD) has signed a strategic agreement with AFM, a subsidiary of DORRA Group, to manage and operate its administrative and commercial project, Financial HUB, in New Capital. The project has received LEED certification.

The agreement reflects SUD’s approach to selecting specialized partners with relevant expertise to support operational efficiency, enhance service standards, and preserve the project’s operational and investment value over the long term.

Ali Shalaby, Chairman of SUD, said that the project is the first integrated building in the New Capital to receive international LEED certification, reflecting the company’s focus on developing projects that combine strategic locations with international environmental standards.

He added that next-generation projects are no longer focused solely on construction, but also on value, sustainability, and global competitiveness.

The agreement was signed by Ali Shalaby, Chairman of SUD, and Amr Salah, General Manager of AFM, a subsidiary of DORRA Group, as part of the cooperation between the two companies to manage and operate administrative and commercial building, while leveraging specialized expertise in facilities management and operations.

The agreement aims to establish a professional management and operations system tailored to the nature of the LEED-certified administrative and commercial project, while enhancing the efficiency of services, maintenance, and facilities management. This is expected to improve the user experience and provide a stable and attractive operating environment for companies and commercial properties.

Shalaby explained that high-quality operation is a key factor in maintaining the sustainability of real estate projects, noted that a project’s value is determined not only by its location, design, or construction quality, but also by its ability to maintain the efficiency of its assets, service standards, and quality of the working environment after operations begin.

He noted that professional management helps protect the value created throughout the development phases, added that adopting smarter and more structured operations allows for more efficient responses to users’ needs, better monitoring of maintenance and services, and improved management of resources and facilities.

This supports consistent performance and enhances the overall experience within the project, while also contributing to the competitiveness of administrative and commercial developments, Shalaby pointed out.

He further disclosed that Financial HUB is located in the heart of the Financial District in the New Capital, specifically at the Ministries Square, directly opposite the monorail station and adjacent to the Downtown area. This strategic location facilitates access to the project and enhances its appeal to administrative and commercial activities.

Amr Salah, General Manager of AFM, a subsidiary of DORRA Group, said that the LEED-certified Financial HUB represents a significant addition to the type of projects handled by AFM.

Salah added that the project benefits from a strategic location and is one of the largest buildings in the New Capital, adding that AFM is proud to be involved in its operations.
